Hello all!

Iīve decided to "park" the old webpage and create this forum in the aim to talk about everything about the outcoming tour. My idea is to re-create the webpage meanwhile and fill it with more content, but while that takes places someone suggested me to make a forum... and here it is.

One year ago W.A.S.P. played in my home town and made real something I never thought it could happen, and now, with this Crimson Idol tour, another dream is gonna become real.

Welcome everybody, letīs talk about The Crimson Idol!

When I first heared The Crimson Idol, the music of the album excited me. It has very clever compositions and the music follows the feeling of the lyrics. The drums, without playing something complex, it is consistent to the feeling, specially in “The Titanic Overture”, and the sound effects that is used, like the sound of the chainsaw in “Chainsaw Charlie (Murders in the New Morgue)”, gives a better result. In the end, in the “Prologue to The Crimson Idol” Blackie puts the listener into the story with his great writing.
In my opinion the concept of the album is the most important part of the album. A young boy named Jonathan, can not find love from his parents and starts looking to the mirror, the place where he can be anything or anyone he wanted to be. At the age of 16 he escapes from home and goes in the “arena of pleasure” and his only wish is to be a rock star, because he believed that by becoming a rock star his parents would accept him. In the end, he becomes a rock star but his parents still are not accepting him, and he realizes that the people he met in the “arena of pleasure” treat him for their advantage, so he decide to commit suicide by making a noose with the strings of his guitar.
I think that the mirror symbolizes the inner self of Jonathan. He couldnĒt find love, because only his brother loved him, and he died when Jonathan was 14 years old. So in the mirror he would be a great man, that everyone loved him. In the end, the achievement of his wish becomes the reason of his suicide. He didnĒt care about the consequences in spite of reaching his goal. His whole life was addicted in his aim, but when he achieved it, he recognized that regardless of he became what he wanted to be, the people around him treated him for their benefit, and his parents still hated him.

So, be careful what you wish for, it might come true!!!

It's music filled with emotions, a great history, and lots of feelings... So beautiful and yet so 'majestetic'..
It's indeed hard to describe!

Well, according to me, its the best album ever created, right above Accept's Restless and Wild, and AC/DC's Back In Black.
